Do you know that the left lung is slightly smaller than the right lung because the right lung has three lobes, while the left lung has two or that in rare cases some types of lesions in the spleen can become calcified? These and other fascinating facts about our internal bodies were presented to students in grades 6-12 courtesy of Jason McGough from ClinLab. Students were given the opportunity to participate in a hands-on lesson about the functions, structures and potential diseases of our internal organs. Thank you to Mrs. Martinmaas for arranging for the Road Show to visit!
