Mrs. Morton's third grade class has been working on lessons from the SDSU Extension Adopt-A-Cow: Beef. They have named their ranch The Dirty Dozen Ranch. Thanks, third grade for working on this SD 4-H project!

On November 26, we had three Rush players come to read in the elementary classrooms. The Rush players autographed the books about hockey and then the books were given to five lucky students on December 2nd during our all-school assembly. Go, Rush!

The ag classes hosted two of the state FFA officers on Wednesday. The officers led fun, hands-on activities in teamwork, leadership, and FFA in general.

The Elf made his appearance to the library today! The 4th graders decided to name him Bob. We talked about traditions and the students shared some of their family Christmas traditions. The Elf, Bob, had a special message for the students which was to read every day and enjoy the blessings called books! Happy reading!!

Hello New Underwood familes! The RUSH Hockey is offering a student night on December, Friday the 13th. If you bring in a current mid-term or a test, that shows a grade of an A or a B, the student will get into the game for FREE! Parents will also get discounted tickets. You must bring in the 'grade' to the Box Office in the Monument to get the free and discounted tickets. Parents and School Families! I wanted to remind you that we have Christmas concerts coming up. Elementary on Tuesday December 10th at 6:00 PM. Middle School and High School on Tuesday December 17th at 6:00 PM.

Elementary Tiger Way for November is Graciousness. Graciousness is being courteous, kind and showing gratitude. Nominations for Tiger Way were Amani Morton (Kindergarten), Aurora Rhoden (1st grade), Zaydin Mader (2nd grade), Barrett Johnson (3rd grade), Raines Caspers (4th grade), and Theo Ludeman (5th grade). Recipients of the award was Amani, Aurora, Zaydin (yes, a 3-way tie!) and Raines Caspers. The presenter of the award ceremony was Owen Devlin from 5th grade. Congratulations to all nominees!
