1. Prom forms for guests outside of New Underwood School students are in the office for pick up, these must be completed and turned into the main office no later than April 2nd.

Not only is school about learning how to read, write and understand math but school also provides ample opportunities for students to learn responsibility and understand how it feels to help others. These boys had the job of library helper for kindergarten. They were tasked with the job of returning books to the library. They worked great as a team!

It's the final countdown! The March Madness Book Battle is at its final 4 and today the battle was between Please Don't Eat Me! by Liz Climo and Where Are All the Calves? by Scott Haynes. The book with the most votes, by one! was Where are All the Calves? by Scott Haynes. Today's readers were Ridge & Carter and Taten & Sylver (4th graders).

New Underwood School District 51-3 has an immediate opening for an assistant custodian. This is a 12 month position with benefits.

Thank you to all who supported the library's annual Scholastic Book Fair! The fair profited a total of $2034.79. The library will receive $766.40 in Scholastic Dollars. This money is used to purchase books and other items for the library.

Wow, What a Battle!! Wednesday's Battle was between Almost Everybody Farts by Marty Kelley and I Want That Nut by Madeline Valentine. The books were read by Avery & Zylah (5th grade) and Cassius & Cooper (4th grade). The book with the most votes went to I Want That Nut by Madeline Valentine! Nice work to all who read!

Tuesday's battle was between I Say Ooh You Say Ahh authored by John Kane and Where Have All the Calves Gone by Scott Haynes read by 4th graders, Ryder & Theo and Taten & Sylver. Whew! The Battle is on fire!! We are at the next level of the bracket with the books Off Limits authored by Helen Yoon and Please Don't Eat Me authored by Liz Climo read on Monday by Annie & Shae (5th grade) and Carter & Ridge (4th grade). The book that received the most votes was Please Don't Eat Me by Liz Climo!! Nice job to the readers, they did a sizzling presentation of the books they read!
