2. The NU Booster Club will start its annual Cookie Dough Fundraiser this week. Please look for your child's order form that comes home on March 5th! This year's sale will run 3/5-3/19, and order forms and money will be collected 3/20. The delivery date for cookie dough is April 1st or 2nd. Please contact Mrs. Heinert with any questions!

Mr. Soelzer’s 5th grade class took our school a "Step Back in Time” as they wrapped up their study of American history from 1800–1840. This culminating activity was designed in the style of a science fair with a historical twist and a bit of dramatic flair.
Students researched key topics from the era, developed historical characters, and presented their learning from a variety of perspectives. Visitors of all ages were invited to explore the exhibits and engage with students as they brought history to life.
Throughout the event, 5th graders shared their knowledge on topics such as westward expansion and pioneers, the Industrial Revolution, and slavery. Their creativity, research, and storytelling made for an engaging experience that truly transported attendees back in time.

The book battles are heating up, and our readers showed up to promote fun in reading! Our 5th round was between The Duckling Gets A Cookie authored by Mo Willems and read by Oakley and Samirah and Moostache authored by Margie Palatini and read by Cami and Carissa. The winner of the battle, it was close, was Moostache authored by Margie Palatini! Nice job reading today ladies!!
